Purchased a 2.5 litre bottle of Toyota long life as I noticed the plastic radiator bottle will below the low line, what an exercise that is, having the radiator cap on the plastic bottle just isn’t the same as a normal radiator cap.

Done half a major service lol. Replaced under body fuel filter, greased the propshaft and i've left it sleeping on the hoist tonight draining the diffs, gearbox, transfer case and sump. Will finish service off tomorrow and add the recovery points too.

Picked up the original alloy rims from the powder coater, then had the Duelers put back on them.
Took off the BFG M/T's for a little rest in storage.
Current work commitments means little time for off roading and daily city commute.

Back home in Karratha, good feeling not to have to fill up along the way. Although there are some strange going ons with fuel ⛽️ gauges.
as I said yesterday 618ks still over half a tank, well at the halfway mark gauge rises to full 90 litres left, so as it changed over I noted 830kms, so kept driving and the second tank moves more quickly than the 1st, but I knew I could get around 800ks out of the second tank.
so anyone had that before where the gauges are out of whack, bit scary as it was it’s maiden voyage but we got there safely.

When you fill up with 180 liters, the gauge will be on full. It will drop to 1/2 which is the first 90 litre tank complete, then the guage will jump to full again and a green 90L light will come on letting you know you are on the second tank. Then this will go to empty like a normal tank. It's unusual at first, but that's how they work and when you get used to it it makes sense.
A ScanGuage is really handy, i run distance to empty as one of the gauges and litres per 100 as another which makes fuel calculations really easy.
