Wash and polish and ran the monthly Tech-stream test. Number four peaked at -2.7 before settling to -1.8. Looks like somebody might be replacing the injectors next weekend.

Weekend doing Tasmanian Rally Series Championship, or TRS3.
Friday setup of the stages.
Saturday, I was 000 (safety car) then due to a failure in the 100 Series LC that was sweep, I filled in.
Got a bit dirty....
Anyways, I THOUGHT I got the mud off - until I went back up to 80km/h. Bad shudder - turns out that I only got half of the embedded mud out of the rear's. Got the hose on full noise, and corrected!'04 120 Petrol Flinders Red GXL

Getting 9.3ltrs to 100kms which is a marked improvement to previous. Total cost about $1600 all up but I paid about $500 to have them fitted. Couldn't make a comparison against new injectors as I don't know of anyone that has fitted them.
Hope this helps.

To anyone even considering a new set of injectors for the D4D - give Baileys a call (or PM).

Happy to help you drill some extra ports into your head to fit the injectors too - V6 + D4D Injectors - torque and HP - what a combination!Cheers

Fitted 4 new Denso injectors today. Coded the injectors. Haven't seen an idle fuel volume of less than 8mm3 for, well, ever. New OEM filter added too. No error codes following leakage test so that has to be a good thing too. Cut my finger on a hose clamp and bled everywhere. No pain, no gain. Car runs sweet.Last edited by Bushbasher; 23-08-2014, 06:24 PM.Dave
