Just got back from a 7 week jaunt overseas to find my 3 yo Optima starter showing less than 1v. (is that possible?) Serious drain somewhere. I thought twice about leaving it on the 240v C-teck for that length of time as mine gets very hot. Other batteries were disconnected. Only other thing running apart from alarm was the Couplertech. Was inside garage whole time. Oh well, a couple of days on the charger should do it.
Cheers Jim.[SIZE=1]Cheers Jim.

Trip to ARB Osborne Park and installed 2m awning to the pioneer platform that nite
The guys at ARB advised to use this fox wing bracket and just drill extra hole for fitting the awning

Gave it a good wash after my trip south and then got carried away and cleaned the rear door seal. Over 5 1/2 years of accumulated red dust from every mainland state in Australia. I'd always cleaned the outer part but this time I got serious and pulled it off the frame. OMG, there was heaps of build-up on the frame and in the folds of the seal. Another hour of my life that I will never get back. At least now the forensic guys will not be able to put me at the places where I buried my ex wives.

All good, no sign of corrosion at all. I did the door seals, including removing the plastic trim from the bottom of the door openings, after my last bush trip and cleaned them right out. No rust there either.Dave
