Very sad
Was good though to see it go to a young family that I'm sure will love it as much as we did.
Now I have to fall in love with our new 150. Not there yet....

Today I finished off a mounting bracket for the second spare wheel. It used to live in the boot, but that was a tight squeeze with a 265/65, so something new was required for the 265/70s that are going on soon. Uses the seat mounting bolts at the front, and a turnbuckle at the back rather than drilling new holes.
And in the last few days I've fitted a couple of these:
And one of these:
Also gave the headlights a quick spruce up - passenger side before, driver's side after.
Almost ready for the cape now

I'm guessing you don't like the idea of it being up top?

i like taking apart my prado. so i did. did the front left door and the centre console the other day. put back together like it was factory.
Also found some kind of paper in there too but I didn't take a pic of it (I should've taken one)
EDIT: I hate losing screws though... Lost one of the screw for the dash when it slipped out my fingers and fell into the dash crevices and couldn't get it back >Last edited by Wtrxprs007; 18-05-2014, 09:19 PM.[B]CANYONEROOOOO *whipping in the distance*

Finally got my new fridge slide mounted today. What a bastard of a job. I have the Outback Supplies drawer system with built in fridge slide on the left. I pulled that slide of, pulled the drawers out and swapped the rollers so the original slide is now on the right. Because the left side didn't have the special receiving nuts for the solid floor I had to do some create bolting and drilling. Also had to move the cargo barrier forward a couple of centimetres. Now I have 2 slides. The stock slide is for my 40L Engel and the new ORS slide is for my 60L Engel. I had to change sides because the big fridge would open the lid due to the rear car door and the way it bends inwards. The 60L is too long for the standard slide. So, after frigging around with the ARB slide - that was too narrow for my fridge - I have spent the best part of 2 days on this instal.Dave

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

The plastic trim follows the body pretty closely. I've had the right side completely undone whilst routing cables. Honestly I don't think you have anything to gain by removing it. More likely you'll find dust getting in and more road noise. I have the floor trim and carpet removed from mine with the Outback Supplies drawer system installed. You also have the seat mounting brackets on the sides for the 3rd row which are located under that plastic trim.Dave
