Removed the old Magnum winch today and began installing the Runva 11XP which has been screaming at me to be installed since May last year!. No real dramas apart from the bolts for the Hawse Fairlead aren't quite long enough. The are 35 mm and probably short by approx 5 mm so will pick some up during the week. Whilst the standard Runva Fairlead is OK, it doesn't cover the hole fully, so I may still use the Offset one that I picked up in advance. I still need to wire up the isolation switch that I have back to the dash. Just ran out of time today... Also need to think about where to put my forward facing cam now which I had fitted to my old winch control box. There's no room in the new Runva box which is more compact...2004 V6 Grande. BLACK -

Bought 2 new CR1616 button batteries to replace those in the remote controls. Amazing how efficiently they work now, one was just about completely inoperable. Not bad seeing they have lasted 6 years.Dave

I've got 2 USB charging blanks, 2 3mtr ipod charging cables and an LED interior light kit on order all off Fleabay.
The 3mtr cables are so the kids can charge/play their ipods in the back whilst driving to places. Silence is bliss.
The USB ports are so we can all charge our stuff in the car at the same time and I get 1 of the 12V acc ports back so I can run the CB off 1 and the DashCam off the other.
The LED kit was actually bought as the kids have a habit of leaving the lights on and I don't want the battery to go flat.
Hopefully it's all here soon.2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.

I have a god awful noise from under the car when I turn right into my driveway. It sounds like a short grind or clunky noise, like either a plate hitting and grinding or a joint that has lost a rubber insert....... Will have to send the bride under to have a look....Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!
