Perth Servicing (Major) recommendations

Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good mechanic/business to complete a major service in Perth.

My 2008 Prado V6 automatic is due for its 120 000 km service soon, and I am keen to get it serviced at a reputable mechanic…assumed there would be a few fellow 'perthites' on here who can recommend someone?

I am NOR but not fussed on location as long as its a reliable service by someone experienced in servicing Toyotas or specifically Prado's.

And anything else I should be looking at not included in logbook service at 120 000km mark?

I personally use Robson Bros 4x4 in Welshpool. They are good to deal with but a bit on the expensive side, but I've yet to find a decent mechanic that isn't. I'm NOR too, but make the trip as I feel more comfortable getting my rig checked over by professionals who understand the needs of 4x4 drivers. Plus the amount of rigs they have sitting out the front and in the workshop on a regular basis adds to that comfort (also nice to look at).

I know that the Perth 4x4 guys use Leipold J R & Co in Balcatta and by all accounts he is a no nonsense kinda of guy and a pretty decent mechanic. Don't think he specializes in 4x4, but he knows his stuff. Keen to know if any PPers have used him. Not sure on prices.

I have used Autosmart Mechanical a few times now on our Prado. Very professional, has done stints up north working on Hiluxs and Prados. Knows his stuff.

Repco in Howe st Osborne Park also very good

they do a lot of Toyotas for the Fire service , SES and other govt depts

150,000 service + timing belt cost $480...thats for a KZ diesel
