Went 4wding did a bit of climbing in and out of rutts only to find steering wheel is off centre had wheel alignment done wasn't happy with job they did so went to 2nd wheel alignment and told camber is still out. And need to take steering wheel off to straighten.Not happy with that answer went and got new upper control arms from superior went for another wheel alignment hoping to fix problem.Was told superpro arms would have fixed problem but still no wiser as to why steering wheel is out of centre and can't get camber right,any suggestions on this is welcome.

You don't take the steering wheel off to straighten it! It's easy to adjust when you do the toe in adjustment, any decent wheel aligner would know that. If they don't, go elsewhere. As for why it went out of alignment in the first place, hard to say without having a look at it but did you hit something hard with a wheel? Either something might be bent or the camber/castor cams have moved. I've never had a problem getting camber correct on Prado's or Hilux's unless they've had a big lift(more than 2") so I don't know why you got new upper control arms. Or were they bent?Can't we just keep travelling?

Didn't hit anything and can't see anything bent or threaded,bought new upper control arms thinking it would fix problems with camber- caster. And bring steering wheel back to centre- as for removing the steering wheel I didn't want it done so did go else where.Wanting to find out why it has changed and how to fix.
