Ok thanks mate. Do you think that method of using a plastic cone to stretch the boot on would work?
You can get special tool & boots to do so. But I have never bothered.
You will need to do work to remove the shaft, clean & fit new boot, so you may as well do the bit extra its not much.
The outer boot id stick with genuine, it plastic of sorts, not rubber, they're pretty tough. You can't stretch those.
