Centre diff lock light on

Just had 20,000 service today. Picked car up and driving with headlights on and noticed the centre diff lock light was glowing faintly. When I pulled up and moved the lever to the HL position the light glowed at full brightness. Moved the lever back to H and the light returned to a barely visible glow. Drove a few more kilometres and the light finally went out and has stayed off.

Strange. No error codes displayed.

A bit of water somewhere from a steam clean I recon.

I wouldnt worry unless it comes back.

Sounds right Duff.

Had the same a couple of times .... always after the car had been for a bit of a swim.

Pulled the plug all the plugs down around the gearbox and transfer case.
Gave them a blow dry and a bit of WD40 .... problem gone.
