well i just just delivery of the new D4D., the guys at Cessnock were kind enough to drive it down to me in Sydney - great customer service..! Has 45lts of fuel, a few dead bugs....and its beautiful !! Still awaitng bull bar to e colour coded and other bits so its still a WIP. cant wait for the weekend now !

The diesel will take some getting used to - not used to the sound of it, certainly different to my last car - a petrol V8 (Holden). Great build quality though, you can hear it, feel it, smell it and see it!

I you've not had a turbo before remember to let it cool down before you switch it off.
From memory the manual recommends under 80km no need for cool down, 80km - 100km 1 minute, 100km plus or if towing 2 minutes.

Some say it not necessary these days to do the cool down process unless under extreme conditions but i feel it is good to do it all the time so you get into the habit.

The Diesel really froths up and you have to take it slow at the end. I use a pair of garden gloves when I fill up as I hate the lingering smell of diesel on my hands. Yes I know i'm a real woos ops:

I'm no expert however I'll attempt to assist you as best I can. If you do a search in this forum you will find others who have asked the same question and received answers that will poss be better than my description.

Before you can insert a photo you have to have it uploaded on another website. There are sites such as Photobucket etc that you can use.
- When you open up a new post here, you will see at the top various buttons in boxes. You need to use the "Img" button.
- When you use the button you will see [img] come up
- now copy the path of the website your photo is on. As an example, one of my links to a photo is http://farm1.static.flickr.com/222/5037 ... da20_o.jpg
- Now click the Img button again.
- Click preview to see if the photo comes up before you submit your post.
- Note: When you click the "Img" button it will show whever your cursor is. Therefore you may not see the [img] unless you look around your page. I often forget and find it at the bottom of my page.
