Unable to lock driver's door

Am unable to lock the drivers door with wireless remote or key.
Have tried both sets, and have restarted motor and tried again , still no luck,

All other doors lock but not driver's side, and no "door open" warning light.

Any suggestions?

I've never experienced one like that before. My first reaction would be to call the dealer and say, "Fix it - now!". I would guess it's a dicky lock mechanism on that door.

The key remotes work because they lock the other doors. Does the driver's door lock by turning the key ?

Had this happen a couple times to me.

Ended up starting the car, and moving it a couple feet to a park, then opening closing all doors. worked ok.
Did it the other day again, found the back door wasnt latched properly, no dash light either.

That sounds like an easier solution. Maybe I'm just heavy handed shutting doors. ops:

I tried the two sets of remotes and also the key itself with no luck.
will definitely be contacting dealer on Monday and get them to sort out.

By default I moved car to its "nursery' and tried again but no luck. Will try your solution and open and shut all doors and then move it , before trying to lock it.

Must be a minor fault in locking mechanism.

Just be woried if he tells you to stand on one leg while you do it.

I would not expect to see anything on the dash unless the door was actually open.

This has not happened to me so cant help. Interested about a cause though...

Fixed at dealer's workshop.

Took a short while only , and all it needed was a bit of adjustment to the locking mechanism.

Good to hear it was a simple fix.
