Toyota Prado 120 Carbon Fibre Interior

Hi guy's,

This is our 2006 GXL we got about a month ago everything was in real good shape but that plastic for the Interior were scratched up a bit and the previous owner had screwed a few things into the dash :???:. Dad had the idea of going to the wreckers and finding new dash and console parts but I showed him this carbon fibre wrap and I was soon set to work.

Sorry if the picture isn't very good but this is the point I'm at right now. It took me a few hours but I managed to do this without pulling the the whole center console apart. I will upload more pictures tomorrow afternoon once I have finished a bit more.

Can you give some more details about where you purchased it and how much it cost? My back door is looking sad and that could be a solution.

Hey Mate,

A few tips I can give is order way more then you need this stuff can be very annoying to get it right and looking good so there will be a lot of trial and error going on as I found out. Also make sure you make the surface of the area very clean before laying it down.

Well I did a bit of searching around to find trims but couldn't find much so i'll be covering the silver trim parts when the silver carbon fibre arrives.

Repco have it in their latest catalogue. I have a "real" carbon fibre dash, interior door skins and steering wheel in my Cobra. If the dash in the Prado ever cracks......
