G'day Oceanrunner
I already had a 2" lift in the rear with HD springs. I wanted just a little bit extra without having to change the springs and shocks. I have ended up with about 840ish in the rear. Because the spacer sits directly on top of the spring, what ever spacer you put in will give you that exact amout of lift (10mm=10mm or 20mm=20mm) Just remember that if you are still running stock shocks, they will probably top out as they will not be long enough and could cause damage. I already had 2" longer shocks and it hasnt affected them at all.
Hope this helps

Dammit, after reading this post I was contemplating getting a rear lift for the girlfriend to put some spring in her step and harden my definition (HD). Now I find out its illegal. Just like Crowey a few posts up I just want to get a job done. Well, if I dont get it done I guess my droop stays......
MLC I believe (cannot say from personal experience you understand) that there are alternatives to such drastic surgery. There is the airbag option of course though this does require insertion of said device but it is (said to be) relatively painless. Then the degree of boost is as easy as access to a suitable air supply.
