        As said before how much money have you got..? But as I've noticed with a lot of Prado owners some have a lot .. lol... I consider lift to be important for clearance but I think lockers make a 4WD more capable over going for more lift.

        4" of lift with SRC, would make for a good bit of kit I reckon.

            I would think 50mm lift give or take 10mm and front and rear lockers and decent tyres would be the best bang for your buck. The bigger lifts will mean engineering sign off to remain legal in most states. Watch the tyre size you fit as well given in Queensland the maximum increase in overall diameter allowed is 15mm which means 275/65 17 is ok but 265/70 17 isn't. The Prado isn't rock crawler material and if that is what you are looking for then keep looking.

              I agree with the above.
              Actually, a 2" lift with decent tyres will get you to 99% of the places you can go.
              I don't have lockers.
              I regularly go away on trips with two friends that have 80 series landcruisers which have airlockers and lifts. Both guys are usually amased at the places my Prado goes, and I have never been left behind.
              Lower tyre pressues and careful driving will get you most places the guys with lockers get to. That has been my experience anyway, but having said that, I would really like twin lockers as well.
              2008 Diesel Prado with extra stuff added. I drive it on the road and other places too.

                Davros it is quite ok to have locker envy. I have gone from two to one to none but cannot justify fitting them to the 120 because the TC has kept me going when I would have needed the locker in the 90 and both in the P................................................. ........ (sorry about swearing on the site). When the 120 needs to be replaced I will try (again) to get the principal driver to agree to something small and economical, keep the 120 as the dedicated 4wd and then spend the $ on refreshing the suspension and other the little necessities for life like lockers. Yeah I know but I can dream can't I?
