Very happy with the OME new look, feel and increased height.
Tip - Check your top shock bolts are tight. I had my 30K service on Friday and when checking the shocks you could turn all 4 by hand. Total of 4 half turns per shock tightened them up and it feels like a new car. I initially thought the mechanic had inflated the tyres it was that firm.
Just went and priced a new set of OME here in Tasmania and was quoted $2000.00 for springs X 4, shocks X 4, struts X 2, wheel alignment X 1. How does this pricing compare with those on the north island?

Seems a little high... I would have though around the $1600-$1700 mark inc install/alignment. Is your quote from ARB or a reseller?

Price was through ARB and the shocks were Nitrochargers. There is only one ARB store here in Tassie so just seeing what you guys have been paying to see if I will get the new setup before I leave the state or while on the mainland touring around.

If you have a budget of $2k then maybe give Darren at Auto Craft a ring. You should be able to get one of his Bilstein packages for around that sort of money..

I meant to post up the results and some pics of my OME lift done a couple of months ago.
Front springs 884 / Rear 896 with Nitrocharger Sports shocks all round. ( this is the combination most on on here seem to have fitted and ARB agreed on this for my application ) Front : Before : 740mm ( no bullbar) After : 790 mm ( I had a steel bullbar fitted at the same time ) Rear : Before : 760mm After : 830mm
At the 500km check it had dropped by 5 -10mm all round ( settled in )
Some pics below - to be fair these are not an "apples for apples" comparison- in the "before" pic the car was heavily loaded up for a trip. It does show you how much the OEM suspension sags under load. (hence one of the reasons for the new suspension.)
The "after" pic is with the car fairly empty - next time I load it up I will take another shot.
sorry bout all the edits can't get thes photos to "stick"
