Nolathane or rubber bushes?

Hi

I need to replace the rear suspension bushes which is better nolathane or rubber?
from what I've been able to find rubber seems to be the go with a 4wd just after your opinions

I think rubber is better with the Prado suspension.

Rubber all the way, it tends to let the suspension flex better, and doesn't tear like Nolathane, it also gives a better ride over Nolathane.

If you were driving a 2wd sporty thing, then I would say Nolathane over rubber. But for any 4wd, then only use rubber.

Nolathane is used when you want more handling performance , not 4wding or touring performance . The prado is one of the best riding 4wds ever built . It's ride is one of the most comfortable , yet best handling . Unless you need to make your prado to handle like a Lamborghini , I'd go with the rubber.

Hey does anyone know where I can buy rubber bushes Toyota want a lot!
I've found 1 supplier that can supply the upper rear trailing arms and rear pan hard
I've found another that can supply the front upper and lower control arms
cannot find for rear trailing arms
personally I would prefer to purchase from 1 place

The reason I'm looking at replacing them is I have the front left upper control arm shot close to 10mm of movement and the lower is not much better, in the rear when loaded it thuds
I have OME suspension ordered and figured I'd redo the bushes whilst I have it on stands

when I first read your post I thought what the f#@?
so I googled it, bugger me there cheap there on holidays till the 17th so I have to wait if those prices are genuine its worth the wait
the lower control arms bushes are less then half the price of the cheapest I've found

Yes, they're a genuine site. Several PP'er have bought from them. It is worth it to accumulate several parts into one order to save on postage or combine the order with someone else.
