Hey guys,
I'm currently trying to find out whether going above 770mm at the front will affect drivability and also cause premature wear on drive componets.
I've got ATS ridepro kit and it sits at 765-770mm on top circlip position. As Darren has designed this kit to sit at 770mm there is no more adjustment to go higher other than having an extra groove machined into the shock or to add spacers (not interested in going this path).
I'm looking to go an extra 20mm which is all I want to go and is the maximum I can go with the billies (by measuring the droop) according to Darren.
I have been advised that going higher than the current height, drivability will suffer and can also cause damage to the cv joints.
Can any of you guys with suspension measurements higher than 770mm give me some feed back on the above issues, if you've had cv problems and if driveability is affected?
Cheers,
Crammy
