Look Micheal, you don't have to make excuses about those bruises and bumps on your head, just return the saucepan set that you bought the wife for Christmas and buy her some jewelry.
Glad to hear that you completed the project with out to much trouble.
Have you had a chance to experiment with the pressures/ride quality yet?
    Cheers
    Troy

Ironically the saucepan set is what she wanted....

Im running about 8psi at the moment and its firm with around 50lts fuels and no load, will drop to the min. 5-6psi I think.

Seems to have also lifted the car about 10mm at 8psi so im on the limit of the roller door now - oh well time for a new house I guess.
      Cheers
      Micheal.

I have ordered the Firestones from TruckSpring.com $140.00. So tech day when I get home Foxclan/120D4D. Would like to do the rear rear diff lock as well before Bendleby but that will have to wait for tax time.
Yep.....I have a Prado just like you

When installing the bags, take care to protect the connection on the bag from being bent out of shape when you inflate the bag. My bags failed around the brass fitting after 18 months of use. The plastic has a 5 or so mm tare where the brass connection goes through.

Yes I woudl love to have a Molnar hoist too. A 4 tonne jobby would be nice, and a waterproof space to put it, with 3 phase power, nice lighting, and an epoxy painted floor. A good heater for winter time would be nice.

I'd like to have some of those posters on the wall too. You know..... the ones of those nice healthy looking girls?

The only problem I encountered was post install. The LH side accepted air - sweet!! The RH...no air was going to the air spring!! After a fair bit of head scratching and moaning about buying faulty O/S components and warranty etc etc, we decided to pull the RH side out and have a look. 2 seconds into the removal I found what the problem was. When I had routed the tubing from the top of the air bags through hole in the top of the modified/cut down bump stop I was not taking enough care and put a kink in the tube. That was why no air would get through. We rectified this and both side accepted air and sat perfect!!
Quick question as someone who hasn't done this install before - how much do you cut down the factory Bumpstops?

I've just pulled mine out and there's a base which is about 50mm deep with 4 more segments of 25mm thickness and reducing diameter. Do you leave any segments in place? Do you leave the full base segment (approx 50mm deep) or does it need trimmed down too.

                  I'm installing coil rite kit 4107 with 2" Lovells/bilsteins on a 120 D4D.

                  Cheers

                  Steve
