Anyone running 265/70/17

I would like to know if this profile tyre will fit my standard Prado,have a small lift in the front with King springs 101.
Would like to fit a new set of MT or AT3 in a 70 profile but would like to know if they will fit? Has anyone here done so?What problem if any have you had?

I used to have 265/70/17 MT ATZ 5 ribs on mine with an OME lift and never had any issues/scraping etc.

I am currently running MT 4 Ribs with 265/70/17 on mine with no suspesnion mods and dont have any problem at all

Thanks for the info,that has made up my mind to go with the bigger profile. Do you have a hard spare wheel cover? Will the cover fit the bigger tyre?

Here are some images (Sorry only Muddy ones at the moment), I didnt have a spare wheel cover on so I cant say if it will fit, the only problem I had that I should mention is that due to the slightly larger wheel diameter I had to install a spacer for the spare wheel, Good reason to instal a rear light bracket.

Thanks they look really good,will have to see how Im going to go about getting the cover to fit the bigger tyre.

When I bought my Prado the dealer didn't include a spare tyre cover as he said that they dont fit on the larger tyres. That is only what I was told by a used car salesman but I thought that it sounded right.

I just bought a spare wheel (hard) cover and it definitely does not fit my 265 70 17 size spare tyre (Mud Terrain). I have read a bit about the different tyre sizes, if you want it to fit, it seems you will need to slightly downsize to 265 65 17 and it should fit.

Or you could sell your hard cover on eBay and buy a set of amts spare wheel spacers to fit the 265/70/17 on the rear door instead.
