i have to get new tyres and have resorted to going for whats available as opposed to waiting an unknown time.
i have on order Maxxis AT-771 for $245 each - is this a good deal ( 265 / 65 / 17 )
i wanted to put 275's on but there is no stock around ( newcastle )
i got pricing on the bridgestone d694's but cheapest i was quoted was $349 each
i am hoping sticking with the std size is going to keep me happy with this brand of tyre - i have never had maxxis before
have i made the right decision or should i go the extra cash for the d694's ???????????
EDIT - also for anyone running mud tyres - did you loose much drivability / comfort etc. i have always had muds on previous vehicles but wanting a tourer now more than bush crasher - but just love the look of muds on a fourby - is there much of a compromise
also i opted out of going 265 / 70 as i want to keep the wheel cover on the rear and the difference in size to std would cause issues if had to be run for a period of time - so i have been told
any insight would be appreciated
