Hey all,

Does anyone know the exact weight of a standard Prado GXL wheel with 265/65/17 grandcaps??

Also how much extra weight would a 265/70/17 all terrain tyre add if replacing the grandcraps?

Thanks mate, will check it out. Was more interested for weight on the roof and regarding suspension but since ive already had issues with the rear door (better since i removed that shithouse kaymar light and spacer) could be worth a look

Anthony, If you are going to do any fairdinkum touring, corrugations especially, it is a good idea to get that wheel off the door as it stuffs the body around where the hinges are mounted.
Check out Fleabay for rear wheel carriers. Horsepower get them from the same factory as Powerful 4x4 and MCC. Worth the money especially with big tyres.

Anyone have one? Do they hold up ok, are they hard to fit, and how do they integrate with the side panels?

What about the towbar?

Thinking about getting one to free up roofrack space and make wheel access easier - it's a lot of wheel to lift up onto the rack.
