as a matter of interest just wanted to see wat sort of pressures people run in soft sand, normally on stockton i run around 15psi and 12psi when the going gets really soft, thats with 694s and a light to medium load. been known to go to 10psi in me 4runner on a 40deg day pullin out people with no idea. we have all been there( pullin out no ideaers i mean). cant see myself going to 10psi in da prado as it is 300kg heavier than 4 runner

16 psi as a starting point. Only gone lower once and that was down at Calcup Hill ... really soft 1.3 Km of uphill sand dune climb.
Went to 14, then down to 12 and finished up at 10. No dramas after that ... simply couldn't get stuck  (maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough) ... but I wasn't going to try any fancy slalom runs :?
Cheers
