2006 prado max tyre size without lift

    Just put in a 2" lift then put 265/70/17 BFG km2 on. Totally transformed it.

      Clearance, but not plenty. It depends on brand of tyre, they all vary.
      Also depends on wheel alignment, castor adjustment.
      As you can see a few of the guys had no issue, it looks like piggy is the only one with issues, piggy what tyres?
      I have many customers running 70's on standard suspension, no probs.



      Better with a lift, this one is stock, except for 40mm lift & 265/70-17 mtz's which it had before the lift.

          265/70. Seen them rubbing on lock on a number of non lifted prados.
          Also seen them rub inner sway bars on lifted.

            no rubbing on my sagged 2003 with worn 265/70. Just had Cooper AT3 fitted this afternoon and no rubbing so far but only driven 5km

              Thanks guys , so I will get the lift to be sure anyway. don't need to go overboard with bloody great Hugh tyres, more fuel and wear and tear on car.

                gday clay, i do alot of beach driving, (well i did until i brought the 120) waiting to upgrade suspension and tyres till i go to fraser is. I usually get Maxxis tyres, are those BFG'S good for sand and gravel??
