I liked everything about the D694's except the noise - almost as noisy as muddies, in my view.

That was the dealbreaker for me - I would expect a more aggressive tyre for the noise.

GM, i did find on the Jeep if you didn't rotate regularly and corner to corner they will get noisey near the end of their life, how many K's have you done.

So what would you expect to get out of a set of D694's with normal use and rotating every 10000kms?
I have made up my mind to put a set on shortly and was thinking that 45-50k would be the norm?

I got 80,000 km out of a set of coopers at's (replaced by atr's in their lineup) on a GQ patrol, hard to tell if they were too noisy as the nvh on the patrol wasn't that good, they didn't seem noisy above all the wind noise from the patrol. Great tyre & went a hell of a lot of places I thought I would get stuck, rear airlocker didn't hurt though.
Wherever you go..there you are, it's just more comfortable getting there in the Prado....

Bloody hell, I hope they do better than that. My Grandtreks have done 70,000 and still have 40% left (though I'd acknowledge this is an exception to the norm).

I only run mine on 36 psi though for comfort.

I'm with you PK, I struggled to get 45K out of both sets. Must be something abrasive in Sydney road bitumen :P

I'd stay away from the Bridgestones - they are clearly NOT puncture resistant
