Might want to rename your thread to Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib and your tyre size after the the rib, just so who ever is wanting these or wants to keep up to date with your progress, its easy to find the thread.

That is a great price. I cant find anywhere who will sell them less than $382 per tyre.

I bought 5 265/70/R17's at $370 ea. a few weeks ago but I also bought 5 rims at $120 ea. so I don't know if they might have fiddled with prices somehow. Bought them all as a package at widetread Ferntree Gully.
They are very quiet - I'm very happy.

I'm glad to hear how quiet they are FBP. Have you had a chance to run them around on soft sand? Curious to know whether they dig-in or float.

Not much coastal sand in Vic :? but I'll be going to the deserts or to Robe S.A. over easter so I'll test them out then. Need a compressor though.

I purchased 6 x LT265/70R17 MT ATZ 4 Rib about four weeks ago from a Melbourne Metro 4x4 store for $350 ea (fitted and balanced).

I am very happy with tyres. I have taken them off-road a couple of times and they performed well. Admittedly they were attached to the awesome D4D!!!

                      Hi Lego
Thats a better price than anything I've managed to get quoted in the Melbourne area.
Can I ask what outlet that was? Might have to give them a call!

Re: Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 rib

Got a set of 5 for $374 each last week. Gave them a good run over the weekend in the high country. I was blown away by the grip on dirt and wet sealed roads. Had some trouble with clogging in the boggy clay but I wasn't the only one. Even the guys with muddies struggled in the conditions.

There is also a noticeable whine over 60kph but I was expecting that and it is only a very minor inconvenience when compared to the performance improvement. One thing I wasn't expecting was when the car is left stationary for the day they tend to hold a flat spot for a while. This isn't noticeable at 60 but I usually jump straight on a freeway and it takes a couple of kms for them to get back in round. I've noticed this with other tyres on other cars I've had but these are a lot worse. I'm running them at 36psi. Is that high enough?
