Cheapest tyres

Guys,

Just a quick note. I have been looking for tyres for the past couple of months throughout the greater Melbourne area.

I am fortunately in the position to have a friend to was able to get me 5x Cooper STT 265x70 17" wheels for $325 each.
I found this to be the cheapest around after going to the 4wd show at the show grounds on the w/e and Coopers were looking at $415each.

If anyone is looking for a good price for tyres in the greater melbourne area. there is a place in Berwick. TyrePlus (Not Tyrepower)

I have priced the following as back May this year.
All 265x70 17"
MK ATZ 4 Rib $366
Cooper ST $338
BFG - $300

Cheapest tyres

I guess it depends on what your after, and the size of your tyres. The michelin one's I'm getting are only £60 more for all 4 than the cheapest possible ones - and hopefully the manufacturer's claims about tyre mileage and rolling resistance helping reduce fuel consumption a little will be borne out.Be careful with tyre-shopper as for my car,they quoted the incorrect tyre size. Refer to your car manual and the tyre side walls bearing in mind some cars occasionally have different sized tyres on the front and back.Also after searching this site before originally and looking now after this post,I have made a discovery. When you put in your tyre size, you get 3 tyres, at least for me on first viewing the "view the rest of the range" option wasn't obvious for me. Tyres I ordered from blackcircles would have cost £160 without any discount code.
