    Hi all

    After a little help here.
    My Prado has been pulling to the left quite bad, so it was time to get an alignment done whilst I had a service completed.
    They showed me the computer printout that had the changes they had made showing as per thier machine the alignment was perfect. However when they road tested it still pulled, so they said they rotated the tyres and that fixed it. However as soon as I left the dealer I noticed it was still pulling. I couldnt go back as they were closing up as I left.

    My question is, does anyone know what could possibly be causing the pull to the left? It is no more pronounced under brakes.

    Bring it down to Greg's Alignment near ARB Regency and he'll sort you out. Do call for an appt first though.

      If you have a lift and aggresive tyres then it will pull to the left due to the natural curviture of the road as the movement of the vehicle will be more influenced by the curve. I noticed this after new rubber and lift and had ARB recheck the alignment (Greg's Alignments near Regency) and then have an independant alignment (Flinderspark Bridgestones). The final alignment helped slightly but it wasn't too bad to start with, just different to the stock tyres and suspension.

        Nope no lift and standard road tyres at the moment. The dealer mentioned something about Radial pull, but not sure if he was trying to pull one over me there.
        ok maybe I'll get it to a specialised aligner, Greg seems like he knows what he is doing by a quick search on the forum.

          Mate, check your ball joints. just had the same issue & the lower joints were nackered. Replaced them all. only problem is now it pulls more to the right. Changing tyres over soon see if that helps as the Pirellis are nackered.
          2004 GX TD Manual. Mods include: Roll cage/cargo barrier, snorkel, ECB Bull bar, side steps & tow bar. Future mods: Lift kit, GXL rims, roof racks, draws etc etc.

            see I thought it was something to do with ball joints or suspension. Taking it back in for them to have another go. If they can't get it right this time then iots off to somewhere else to have a go.

              After a fun hard slog on the muddy, undulating, hard road/tracks do you do a wheel alignment? I normally do one every year...
