The other way to tell is when you go round a round about you will notice the vehicle leans over somewhat and then as you continue around the roundabout it actually straightens up.......that is the KDSS working..... I have 4 large roundabouts on my way home and I feel this happen every time....Comment

If my ZR has got KDSS, then I am very happy man, didn't feel like that shorty owners were left out

No KDSS on my 13 ZR, the sway bars are solid mount which is not the case with KDSS, see below an image of Jeffers VX suspension.

Ummm, I think that cylindrical object with the concertina rubber boot to the right of the coil is the KDSS. Any pics of the passenger side front suspension? And also of the bashplates? That should confirm it.Originally posted by GUV View PostComment

On Page 11, it only mentions Vx and Kakadu having KDSS.
Then on Page 21, KDSS is mentioned on the VX specs so the Kakadu specs is what's additional to the VX.
When you look at Page 22 and 23, KDSS is not mentioned in the SX or ZR specs.

It is a bit confusing now, cause KDSS was never mentioned in ZR in documentation and I always had impression that KDSS is only available on 5 doors and never bother to research it further.
But now, when I searched Prado KDSS - first result was video on Toyota website. Even though the vid only mentioned Kakadu and VX, in the foot note, it mentioned ZR built after Oct 2011. Not sure whether it is only for CRAWL or CRAWL + KDSS.

CRAWL is different to KDSS.
Have you got photos? The KDSS hydraulic unit is on the pasenger side, attached to the swaybar.Comment

I drove mine today and think it definitely is a better setup(mine has only done 320 kms since I bought it). I even took it to a suspension guy in coopers Plains Brisbane on the way to work and he took it for a test drive and asked why you would change the suspension.....
Guess Toyota have worked the bugs out of the MY13 in regard to suspension.
As a side note I had the steinbaeur chip fitted today....wow .....nice difference and so much smoother between the gears . vehicle is also considerably stronger and no turbo lag at all. !!! Well worth the dollars in my mind....Comment
