Do I need to be certified to install a cargo barrier? My theory would be if done exactly to whichever manufacturer (milford, hayman reese or black widow) instructions it shouldn't be a problemo? can someone confirm that? Thanks.

It's no problemo..loads of people install there own...there are other threads on barrier installation. If you had a govt/commercial vehicle carrying passengers which was involved in a crash, it would be another story viz a viz PL Insurance. Your vehicle..if you stuff up and something comes through the barrier there is only you to blame if incorrectly installed and you live..just need to follow the instructions carefully and re -paint the drilled metal (if any)!Last edited by macaroon1; 25-03-2013, 09:01 PM.[SIZE=1]03 TD 120 Grande, L&R weathershields, f&r deflectors, Sov bar Amts rad b.pl, TJM front B.P, Uniden UH7760NB Kaymar LED worklight, ARB 47l, lifestyle rack & Milford C. Org2 ..I personally hate that Charcoal colour. If you want to make it smick before going in the car, get it sandblasted and powder-coated black. It's visually more appealing and eyes look through black mesh easier than any other colour....think Crimsafe black barriers and black insect mesh screens/doors etc.. I think yours is made by Milford, just badged up by Tojo with there brand! I got my $90 barrier done like above ($80) and it really looks the part with my black metal lifestyle rack. I'll try and post some pics on that thread. So pleased I got it powder-coated, best $80 I ever spent. Like Hutch said a fit kit will set you back @140.
