Hi,
I transport an electric golf buggy in the cargo area of my 150 Series Prado and sometimes after golf the wheels are covered with mud which then rub up against the backs of the rear seats. To prevent the mud transferring from the wheels to the carpeted seat backs, I have cut up some heavy duty cardboard which I have placed up against the back of the rear seats. Whilst this is a reasonably effective solution, it looks pretty average at best.
Has anyone come up with a better and more attractive solution to provide protection to the back of the rear seats in the cargo area? I am not aware that Toyota market an accessory to suit this application.
Another small problem I have found is that when the rear seats are folded flat and slid forward on their runners to provide a large flat surface, there is a gap between the rear seats and the cargo floor of about 15cm. In certain circmstances when loading, it is preferable to have a completely flat surface without a 15cm gap the entire width of the loading area. How have other Prado owners overcome this little problem?
Regards,
Jeff
