Has anyone had any luck with installing round DRLs (Narva or Hella or other) in the ARB Deluxe bar - in place of the fog lights?
I have never had the need for fog lights, but I do like the appeal of DRLs - I think they look good, but also provide a bit of extra
safety due to increased visibility (for others). I am aware of the ADRs surrounding DRLs and it appears the spacing and placement
of the lights in the ARB foglight spots would meet the requirements - also know that re-wiring would be required to meet the regs.
If anyone can shed any light on some options, I'd appreciate it.
    Cheers.

I've investigated it for the 120, pretty simple to fit and wire however I can't find any lights big enough to fill out the fog light hole.

i bought cheap h3 leds off ebay and fitted them to the standard arb fogs.. they don't get hot, but i did have to remove the glass to take out the glare shield and re-glue. Been on 12 months now without any probs

Great idea but given my IPF fogs are worth diamonds I was hoping to not have to cut them up.

They look good, and yes, good value - but, are you using these as Daytime Running Lights or brighter/whiter fog lights?
            Thanks for the above responses...

I am just using them as DRL's. I haven't got around to rewiring yet, so they operate on the fog switch at the moment. They aren't really any good for light output other than when camping and you want something low draw to set up with. I live up in the kimberleys and no halogen bulb lasts long with the heat, so I run these all day to preserve my headlights on the highways.

              cheers,
              Josh

I cut some perspects to the shape of the recess where the lights sit and stuck it on with double sided tape. It looks great and stops dirt and stones etc from getting anywhere near the lights.

Further to this, looking to replace the rubbish, non sealed indicator / driving combo lights in my ARB Deluxe Winch bar with some sealed polycarbonate LED jobbies. The problem seems to be the 150 (152?) mm hole to hole spacing in the existing light. Most replacements, including the awesome NARVA 95202, are about 210 mm spacing. Anyone come up with any good LED options?

                    ARB Bullbar light smashed

There is a thread here about led sealed units that will fit into the ARB original indicator/ Parker spot.

I haven't got a link but a search should bring it up.
