Canvas Seat Covers On leather Seats.

Hi Guys,

Long time listener first time caller. Before I get crucified I have tried at great lengths to find the info on other forums. I have a Altitude with leather seats but no rear seat airbags. Looking to purchase rear MSA seat covers however don't know anyone who has canvas on leather. Black duck wont make them. Any experiences?

I've never covered my 03 seats and I don't want to pay mega bucks for neoprene etc. BTW they are still in very good nick! A few brands may come with the cotton inserts but I doubt el cheapos would. Personally I would not cover 'leather' seats with canvas unless you have the cotton insert or you get grandma to cut out a cotton sheet to line over the seat into the cover. Got this tip from hazza! Canvas is very abrasive and all the moving will cause damage?? I know mine are not real leather sort of a pleather, still don't want canvas over them !!!

Apparantly the MSA do have a cotton lining. Well any suggestions for covers as I need the tie down points for the kids seat.

If you just want to put something between the kids seats and the leather just use an old beach towel, that's what I've done before. The msa seat covers do have a nice soft cotton lining thought, expensive and a bitch to put on but worth it. Just remember you will need to take them off at least every six months to treat the leather to stop it drying out.
