Maybe a freight forwarder might be able to handle it for you. Buy it and send it over on a ship. They are heavy so airmail would cost a fortune.

The smaller drop slide will be sufficient for your fridge.

MSA is a good brand and from one drop slide that I have seen, they appear to be of good quality and solidly built but see more info here

        Hi Ronny
Maybe your friend that is visiting you from Australia could bring the dropslide with them on the plane.
The cost of extra luggage is not too great and you would have it a lot quicker.
        Cheers, Ernie

Ronny. Get you friend to check out shipping rates. Heavy packages are better to send by sea freight, not air freight. Air freight charges for the weight of the package. Sea freight charges by volume of the package. It will take 6+weeks to arrive by sea freight though.
Drop slides will weigh 30kg+ And volume will be about 850x550x250

MSA's website has a list of stockists at the bottom of the page.

Ronny - a quick search found the fridge slide on sale in the UK for GBP549. Freight from there may be cheaper than Australia

                http://www.boab.biz/acatalog/Platinum_Fridge_Slide.html

Note: I have never used this company and don't know about them. There may may be other European Distributors you can find

Sending it via DHL would cost something like $A360 using www.ship2anywhere.com.au (based on 30kgs, 85x55x30cm)
http://www.discountfreight.com.au seems to have some cheaper deals - 3 months by sea! Or cheap ones by air.

You can get it for $A610 locally - http://www.portablefridgesonline.com...waeco-cfx.html - so I'm guessing it would be cheaper to buy it in Australia and get it sent than get it from the UK - GBP550 is about $A990.

A lot is going to depend on the packed dimensions - find that out and then you can work out how much the freight will be.

Ronny you say you are building your drawers, if you are good at making things and having trouble sourcing one you could always make your own (or get it made locally). I made my own dropslide, have a look here http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post243242

                    Cheers Andrew
