Raslarr Engineering Rear Bar Wheel Carrier

Hey guys
I'm in the market for a rear bar for the 150 Prado, and after getting a few quotes for a Kaymar rear bar and repetitively falling off my chair to the tune of $5000, I'm starting to change my mind.

So after looking at the other options I've come across the Raslarr Engineering rear bar. I am wondering if anyone here has this bar and can give me any advice? Things you would change?

Hey mate I had one on my LC100 and had no problem with it other than the gas strut pivot ball snapped off but other than that it was a good product and good people to deal with.

That seems like a fairly easy warranty fix. Would you buy one again?

Their website is doesn't have a price for the 150 bar, but the 120 and 200 series are up, with the 120 being $1700 and the 200 being $1900, without swing arms. More info here: http://www.raslarr.com.au/products/t...slarr-rear-bar

I just want to see how far the gap is between the rear door and tyres, and how the relocate the reversing camera.

yeah I would buy one again, they are a good looking bar. I think I paid about $1600 including a single wheel carrier only with the option of a 2nd wheel carrier or jerry can holder. Cheers

So after all that, I called them today. They need the vehicle for 2 days. Which would be fine, if I lived in Melbourne... Back to looking for a good price on a Kaymar bar...

When I got mine they shipped it to Brisbane and I fitted it myself. It was a piece of cake.

They said three days fitting to me, but I am about to ask if they will freight so I can fit myself.

For anyone interested, they quoted $1800 plus $500 per carrier and $250 fitting.

Does anyone know what they do to mount the camera?

Edit: They just confirmed that vehicle IS required to manufacture so they wont freight. If anyone in Vic is thinking of booking in to get one of these made, let me know!

They look great, my brother has one on his GU and the quality is good. I just wish they shipped them or I lived closer to Melbourne.
