MP3 with DVD

I have a Prado Kakau 2009 and am trying to copy mp3 songs onto a dvd but the disk in the prado cd changer says no.

Do you know if this is possible? Or can you only burn mp3 to CD/R That way you can fit around 800 songs onto a DVD

They're CD players, so CD only, as far as I'm aware.

I have the 2012 Altitude which has the DVD player in roof same as the Kakadu. No problem playing DVDs. Have copied mp3s onto a cd and no problem also.

use a CD not DVD, you'll still get 200+ songs on it anyway giving you around 11 hours or so of music
