Hi all,
got to say I'm a little peeved at the moment.
Had my 150 (GXL) in for a pretty significant service (120,000km $1380) with Toyota only to get it back with the following phone issue. I've searched the forums and most issues seem to be the reverse of what I'm now dealing with.
When receiving a call others can hear me fine but I only hear a transistor quality squeak coming from the front right speaker.
Went to Toyota and the guy said to unpair and pair the phone again. He said if that didn't work then there must be something wrong with the unit and it might have to be replaced. Just finished re-pairing and no difference. I think the only thing I'll replace is who does my services from now on! Worked fine 5 minutes before dropping off at Toyota, and for 2yrs prior to that! Even when I speak a number to call it's replayed to me in a squeak from the single front speaker.
Any ideas?
The previous service I pointed out, I thought fairly straight forwardly, that I couldn't adjust the lights. I could move the in cab dial up and down but nothing happened. Got it back that service with a "ha? what does he mean?" Made an explicit point this service to show someone the issue. After a young guy barked at me for moving it too quickly and I barked back that it didn't matter how fast/slow I tried it didn't work, he said he'd get someone to take a look. Sure enough, fixed when picking up the car.
I'm thinking the phone issue may relate to the lights? Electrical? Fuse? Don't know.
cheers,
