Altitude-Kakadu multimedia system

Gday folks, with the multimedia system in the altitude to kakadu when you start moving it disables the GPS buttons so cant be programmed, is there a wire or something that can be modded to fix this one?

Also the DVD player in the rear, the picture comes up on the front screen aswell only when in park with park brake on, is there a mod for this also to be on full time??

Hi Matt, this has been discussed previously.

Someone did try short circuiting the earth on the handbrake, but the issue with the screen, is it is tied into the GPS, or the speedo pick up, so as soon as you move more than about 2 mtrs, it cuts out the front screen.

By all means, find a fix and let us all know. I'd love to just be able to adjust the destination whilst on the move.

What is needed is a "Vehicle in Motion module". As far as I know it is strictly illegal but what the hell. Lots of people doing this for other cars. Google will give you at least one option. You could try Nolimitelectronics (google) in Melbourne who have been making these modules for E series HSVs etc. No idea if they have anything for the Tojo. No affiliation just good advice over time.
