Wiring additional driving lights.

Hi guys,

I installed H.I.D driving lights a little while back and now i want to add a lightbar as well.

I want to install the lightbar so it turns on with my H.I.D's. Is it ok to tap into the wires of one of the HID lights or should i run a seperate relay for the lightbar?

Given the power draw of most light bars, i would be running a dedicated fused circuit via a relay to make sure you dont overload the existing circuit.

I was hoping the lazy way would be an option ;-). lol

It comes with its own wiring harness so i might as well use it.

The Hid's are 55w and the lightbar is 120w.

I think its safer to run a seperate Relay for each one.

Ok, that's about 12 amps, if the wiring can't handle that I would install
another power circuit.
