Hayman Reese Brake Controller

Hi Guys,

My Hayman Reese remote brake controller arrived today and i plan to fit it on the weekend. Having already fitted an ABR brake controller wiring harness last week, i shouldnt have many issues finishing the job. However, as the HR controller has a quick fit connector and the instructions say that you could fit a factory adaptor.

My question is, has anyone been able to get an adaptor from Toyota and is it plug and play.

Hi,

I also would like to know of anyone else's experience with the HR Brake Controller as I've recently bought one for my 2014VX and am deciding whether to DIY or take it to my autoelec. The HR instructions seem to be simple, especially if as Geoff was wondering the 'plug-and-play' adaptor can be used in behind the dash.
Will I need a Toyota adaptor? Do HR sell adaptors for the Prado?

Hoping to answer a few queries before I launch into any work.
