I doubt that the OBD plug has anything to do with the braking system, more of an ancillary unit similar to a Scangauge, but with less info.

I can't believe OBD supplies road speed or braking data real time.

I would think that the braking effort input will come from the motion sensors not how much the brake pedal is pushed. Unless Toyota snuck in some F1 technology before it became F1 technology. Quick someone look and see if there is a generator connected to the gearbox...

I have seen this mentioned on other forums and was initially sceptical of what may be on the OBD11 port. So I went and looked at the braking system on the 150. There are quite a few inputs to the "Skid Control ECU" Some are-

        Brake pedal load sensing switch
        Stop Light
        Master cylinder pressure
        Speed sensors
        Diff lock

        And on the CanBus

        Acceleration sensor and Yaw rate
        Main body ECU
        Four wheel drive ECU

I am not certain where the OBD11 gets its info from but it does seem possible it could have quite a bit of information about braking.

Update- On further checking I found that the OBD11 connector is called the DLC3 connector (Data Link Connector 3) by Toyota. This is the socket under the steering column. It provides an output of (and input to) the CAN Bus to anything plugged in.

        Cheers
