    Tested off batteries and they work fine - so must be negatively switched - I will check this weekend with a multimeter and report back

      since the headlights are not H4 and are single beam only... negatively or positively switched is not a concern. So long as somewhere the circuit is completed.

      Is the 150 capable of displaying a message when a bulb is blown?

        The 150 is + switch. There is no message that the globe is blown. The only indication is visual. I know for a fact that each High Beam globe has their own micro fuse... I think it was 10A.

        If you have a Plug & Pray wiring loom and have tested it over a battery, I have a feeling its the HID switch. It maybe you need to put a relay in the circuit to give the switch more Volts to turn on.

        I have added HID drving lights to my 2014 150 and used a Plug&Pray harness between the High Beam circuit and it worked fine

          Did you have a 35w kit or 55? If it's fused at 10A then the wiring may not be up to scratch to handle the initial starting load.

            My Driving lights are the Narva HID 225's (50w). It has its own loom to feed the power them and is fused at 30A. The plug and play harness that comes with the kit goes into the High beam circuit to only swith the relay.

            The relay I have doesn't take much to switch where MPG's unit may need more.

                Any further news on the success or otherwise with this High Beam upgrade to HID? I'm considering the Offroadindustries kit too, but would like to check they indeed work first!
