Alternator stuffed?

Missus went to start the car and dead. Hadn't used it in 2 days and seems kids had left interior lights on.

Dial battery relay wouldn't kick over, so jumped it for a bit until there was enough charge to energise the relay and then it started.

Checked batteries with a meter before and aux was at 12.2v but nothing on the starting. The gauge didn't register anything.

Figured battery was gone. However I'm currently on a drive (Parked up at moment) and my scangauge is telling me the alternator volts is only 12.7v. Normally it sits between 13.8-14.1v

Possible the alternator is gone? Or is the reading put off by a dead battery?

Charge the battery.
You can damage your alternator trying to charge dead battery's.
Then test battery after charged & volts have settled.
I think your alternator has issues too.
But I'd charge & check after, once battery is recovered.

Voltmeter at main battery + and earth with engine running will tell you what the alternator is putting out.
