130 Amp Alternator

G'day all,
For those of you that have seen my other threads I recently changed my alternator. Well the 2nd new one from OEX is making a lot of noise already. Going to go back and change it for a genuine.
Found a Denso (genuine) on ebay for $399 but it's 130amp. I've seen this alternator posted about before but can't actually find anyone who has installed a higher output one. Are there any potential issues?

I ran a 130amp for about a year. Only reason I went back to the sameller one was I kept blowing alternators (unrelated to 130amp) So I put a OE one back in

The 130 unit i put in my 120 had the clutch bearing fail. Finally had the supplier replace it (took months as he went into liquidation and reopened with a different name) and a 100 amp unit (although they said it was upgraded to 130) came back. Still going so can't complain too much.

Its says genuine but who knows.

They look like they've been around a while. I don't see why it wouldn't be genuine

Just had a thought regarding this. I have an SBI12 isolator for my 2nd battery which is rated to 100A continuous. Will that mess with it?

No. Car will take 30-40 amps to run and won't get any-ware near 100 amps to the isolator.
