I don't recognise that part, is that the headlight control ECU? Where have you taken the picture from. I see a small motor in the background of the first pic.

Also, which version of 150 kaka is this? early, facelift, or the current 2.8 upgrade? I only ask as I only have the wiring diagram for the first gen 150 and some changes would have occurred over the years.

If a wiring diagram is a bit hard to come by, you could get a multimeter and pierce the probe through the insulation while the high beam is cycled. Good luck!

Far easier to pick it up behind the headlight.
          Cheers

Just for everyone's information... On a VX 2.8, I used the black wire on the high beam globe (via an ebay HB3 harness and wire tap) to switch the relay. Found out the hard way that it wasn't the red wire - I'd be rubbish at bomb defusing.

Apologies for late reply. It's a 2.8TD. I was trying to pick it up from the stalk. Fried cicuit board on stalk. OOOPS!
              Wreckers used 195.
              Toyota new 210.
              Went with new.

Had to pull steering wheel off to replace stalk.

So back to it. I grabbed the highbeam signal off the back of the light and installed a wedge 10amp fuse. I got a switch from low voltage which suits the prado oem blanks. I installed the switch next to the traction control on off.

I was trying to get fancy with pulling it off the high beam stalk but after talking with a local auto elec totota uses some low voltages and even use negatives to switch. Not sure. Over my head so just went back to the easy std way of installation.

              Cheers gents
