For those people with UHF radio mikes that have an RJ45 connector.
Here is a hack the will integrate an RJ45 socket into one of the new square Toyota switch blanks.
1. Buy a switch blank from Toyota Spares, they don't cost much, or use an existing blank.
2. Buy a very low profile straight-thru RJ-45 socket. They are available on Ebay (in packs of 5) asFemale to Female Cat6 Inline RJ45 Keystone Wall Coupler Jack Adapter.
3. Using a Dremmel fine routing bit+small knife/small file, machine/cut a square hole down the centre of the switch blank the size of the jack.
4. cut/file the protruding bits (locating clip etc) off the outside of the socket housing
5. Insert socket housing into switch blank and glue down
