RJ-45 radio connector in a Toyota square switch blank

For those people with UHF radio mikes that have an RJ45 connector.
Here is a hack the will integrate an RJ45 socket into one of the new square Toyota switch blanks.

1. Buy a switch blank from Toyota Spares, they don't cost much, or use an existing blank.
2. Buy a very low profile straight-thru RJ-45 socket. They are available on Ebay (in packs of 5) asFemale to Female Cat6 Inline RJ45 Keystone Wall Coupler Jack Adapter.
3. Using a Dremmel fine routing bit+small knife/small file, machine/cut a square hole down the centre of the switch blank the size of the jack.
4. cut/file the protruding bits (locating clip etc) off the outside of the socket housing
5. Insert socket housing into switch blank and glue down

I read that thread and had a good look at those.
That version fits the rectangular switch slots, plus the panel of rectangular switches is on to the right of the steering wheel, inconvenient for a mike.

The 2018 Prados only have a couple of those as blanks and I needed them for my spotlights, compressor etc anyway.

There are plenty of square switch blanks available for use tho'. But no one except Toyota supports them yet.

I've already gone to the extreme and bought a Toyota OEM Rear Diff Lock Switch (SPST Square) to re-purpose - cost >$90.

thats a rectangular one.
There are only 3 blank rectangular slots on a 2018 Prado GXL, I've used them up for other kit.

I had to use a square switch blank for the radio mike.

Found these, out of stock but they said back in stock next week. $39 inc. postage, not cheap but less faffing than a DIY job. I hacked a square blank for another purpose and it came up ok but I would pay $39 to not have to do it again:
