  • Wire crimps, manufacturer and series, 150 Series, 2018 and uo.

    Hi there fellow PradoPointers!

I was hoping someone in the collective has any information on where to buy the crimp terminals for the 150 Series Prados, 2018 and up to wire new circuits onto the Body ECU (MPX). There are a few sizes from the different plugs as per the current carrying capacity.

I'd like to buy some crimp terminals, and crimp them onto the new wires, and then insert that into the plugs to become part of the wiring harnass. That is all relatively easy, but to find you what make, and series is another story.

https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/E...onnectors.html is one place, there's a few dedicated crimp connector companies out there.

        Hi Piggy,

Thank you for your contribution. Good find, I have been on this on, but could not decide if it is an NH or TS type. The ones used on the Prado has got this slot in the back. Makes me think the crimp terminal has a slot on the front...

The other one I am going through is https://www.yqwakan.com/download/Hai..._catalogue.pdf.

When I spoke with TE (https://www.te.com/global-en/home.html) today, the guys said it might be a restricted connector, made by Toyota. This is probably true, but the crimp terminals would definitely not be. If I find out what manufacturer and type they belong too, it would be a bloody good win!

Ashdown ingrams may be another option. They have an online catalogue

Oz Auto Electrics in QLD have a large range of crimp connectors available , dont know what fits what though. I found that if you download the genuine wiring diagrams it has the toyota part numbers listed for each connector
