Hi All, I have a 3.0L Diesel Manual 2012 Prado 150. After my last 4wd day out the center diff lock light started flashing at the end of the trip not allowing me to engage 4W high. After a short drive and switching from 1st to reverse and back to rock the gearbox/ transfer case, the problem did not go away. A short distance later the vehicle was parked, when I restarted the vehicle the light went out and operated normally. The next start the problem re-occurred. I booked it in to my local mechanic who diagnosed that there was a 'wheel speed sensor issue', Once on the hoist he tested the said wheel speed sensor but it tested fine. The problem still exists. I have a trip booked in 2 weeks with my Prado and would like any help I can get please as I can't engage 4lo or cruise control. BTW, the vehicle still operates as normal.

Problem sorted after numerous phone calls and investigations. Replaced the actuator on the transfer case and everything appears to be working fine.
Oh, if you run into the same problem, Toyota sell the actuator already installed on a transfer case for only a few hundred dollars more than just the actuator!
