Swapping Multi Info Display and Stereo Positions ??

Hi Folks,

Has anyone tried to swap the Multi info display to the bottom of the dash where the Stereo is and then putting the stereo (or aftermarket Stereo) in the top position?

I am no dought going to get a aftermarket stereo soon enough and will put it in the top of the Dash but would be keen to keep the little display just moving it to where the current Stereo is..

Does anyone know if this would simply be a swap or more to it than that?

Hi RED,

Thanks for the reply however in the one above they have simply removed the small screen that used to be where the stereo now is completly, and this is a fairly easy mod as all you do is get hold of a gx model part that is basically another storage bin.

What I want to do is move the little screen to the bottom part of the dash.

toyota prado glx 150 swapping original multi info screen with GPS/stereo system

Hi zerosecta did you end up doing this as i am thinking about doing it with my 150 i got the facier of ebay and that is how it is set up gps/radio up top and the multi info screen down the bottom. I am doing the work myself so i was just wondering if you encountered any problems
