Question re fuel gauge on 150

Hi I just bought my first Prado VX diesel and was wondering if anyone can tell me, my mate has the 120 series and when his car goes ot the sub tank a green light comes on the dash, will the VX 150 series give me an indicator when the fuel is onto the sub?

The gauge see's the tank as one item, no sub tank.

I believe the two tanks are connected by a small pipe and you fill and take from them as if they were one.
