Showing open Hood?

Hi,

my name is Daniel, i am writing you from Germany.
Since one week i am owning a red Land Cruiser Prado Tec Edition, equivalent to your Kakadu Model.
Before I already drove a Prado 120 Series and even a Land Cruiser 70 Series.

So far to my person, since this is my first post. :-)

Now concerning my question: Does the Prado show you an open Hood? My 120 Series did, my 150 doesnt?! Would be glad to hear from you...

No, i mean an Indication Light, or a message in the display showing you when you opened the bonnet/hood.

Hallo Dan,

Es gibt keine "open hood indicator light" auf australienische Prado 150.

Hows that, my daughter is studying German and she wrote that reply for you Dan, so I hope she got it right, I hope she didn't write "my dad is stupid" or something like that.

What seems to happen for me, when I pull the handle to open the "hood" (or what we call the "bonnett") I nearly always pull the wrong handle by accident and open the fuel flap....but definately no "hood" light....by the way, where abouts do you live in Germany?

Old thread, but no, definitely no open hood light in the Australia 150's, I looked in the manual and couldn't see it in any options.

However, as a random bonnet fact.. If you pop the hood and lock the car before opening it, the alarm will go off.

In Short. NO!!
